The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Falcons coach Bobby Petrino is planning to move Jimmy Williams to the No. 2 CB spot opposite DeAngelo Hall, which opens the door for the team to draft a safety. That doesn't bode well for CB Jason Webster. The club will also likely move Chauncey Davis to DE to replace Patrick Kerney.

Big Ben questionable for Oakland :: Wed Oct 25, 2006 11:33 pm
Ben Roethlisberger is questionable for the Pittsburgh Steelers' game against Oakland after sustaining a concussion against Atlanta -- the second concussion for the Super Bowl-winning quarterback in slightly more than four months. Roethlisberger was briefly knocked unconscious during a helmet-to-helmet hit with the Falcons' Chauncey Davis midway through the third quarter after completing 16-of-22 passes for 238 yards and three touchdowns -- his best game of the season. "He will be cleared medically before we subject him to playing," coach Bill Cowher said Tuesday. "We will take all necessary precautions. ... We are very encouraged with the results. But it's too early to tell (if he will play Sunday). ... If he's not cleared, he's not going to play."
Big Ben's status up in air :: Tue Oct 24, 2006 11:15 pm
The Pittsburgh Steelers aren't saying if quarterback Ben Roethlisberger sustained his second concussion in slightly more than four months. Roethlisberger was fit enough to fly home with the Steelers following their 41-38 overtime loss Sunday in Atlanta, and to drive his SUV to a team meeting Monday, despite being briefly knocked unconscious during a helmet-to-helmet hit with the Falcons' Chauncey Davis. "I was just hoping and praying they didn't have to bring out the stretcher," said backup Charlie Batch, who had flashbacks to Chiefs quarterback Trent Green's head injury earlier this season when he saw Roethlisberger go down. "You never want to see anybody hit like that."
Falcons defenders step up :: Mon Oct 23, 2006 11:06 pm
Notable Falcons defenders in Week 7 include: CB Jason Webster (nine solo tackles, forced fumble), SS Lawyer Milloy (seven tackles), DT Jonathan Babineaux (four tackles, one sack, one forced fumble), LB Ed Hartwell (four tackles), DE Chauncey Davis (three tackles, sack) and CB DeAngelo Hall (three solo tackles). LB Keith Brooking (three tackles) and DE Patrick Kerney (one tackle) also played.
Abraham out for two weeks? :: Fri Sep 15, 2006 9:29 pm
Falcons DE John Abraham is listed as questionable but consider him out for Week 2 vs. Tampa Bay. He didn't practice all week and might not for another two weeks. Abraham's groin injury makes Chauncey Davis a starter, perhaps on the left side, with Patrick Kerney moving to the right side.
