Notable players the Bears signed to reserve/future contracts include: TE Richard Angulo, DE Copeland Bryan, WR Mike Hass, QB J.T. O'Sullivan, WR Brandon Rideau and RB Gerald Riggs. O'Sullivan and Riggs have been allocated to NFL Europe and will play abroad this spring.

On Wednesday, the Panthers released TE Charles Davis from their practice squad, signing QB J.T. O'Sullivan to take his place. They also signed safety Cam Newton to replace CB Dion Byrum, who was put on Injured Reserve with a thigh injury.

The Green Bay Post-Gazette reports that the Packers will hold tryouts for their No. 2 QB. Expected to attend are ex-Saints J.T. O'Sullivan and Todd Bouman as well as former Bronco Bradlee Van Pelt. Packers coach Mike McCarthy is familiar with Sullivan and Bouman from their days together in New Orleans when McCarthy was the offensive coordinator.
