To help fill the possible absence of Dennis Northcutt (shoulder) and wide receiver Joe Jurevicius (concussion), Cleveland signed wide receiver Kendrick Mosley from the practice squad Friday.

The Browns have signed the following players to their practice squad: CB Therrian Fontentot, CB Jereme Perry, RB Chris Barclay, OL Rob Smith, NT Babatunde Oshinowo, OL Andrew Hoffman, WR Kendrick Mosley and TE Buck Ortega. They also will receive an exemption for DL Ulrich Winkler as part of the NFL International Program.

Browns WR Frisman Jackson and CB Pete Hunter had their contracts terminated Saturday. Also, the Browns waived the following reserves: DL Darrell Campbell, OL Jonathan Dunn, DB Therrian Fontenot, QB Darrell Hackney, OL Andrew Hoffman, LB Justin Kurpeikis, FB Corey McIntyre, WR Kendrick Mosley, DL Babatunde Oshinowo, TE John Owens, DB Andrew Pace, DB Jereme Perry, LB Nick Speegle, RB Lee Suggs and OL Dave Youanovits.
