The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young is going back to the University of Texas to work towards getting his degree. Young is enrolled full-time for the spring semester. Major Adams, Young's agent, said Young is two semesters shy of his degree in liberal arts and hopes to finish by 2009.

ESPN.com reports Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said Monday, Dec. 10, that he did not order a hit on San Diego Chargers LB Shawne Merriman in retaliation for a shot Merriman delivered on QB Vince Young during Week 14. According to the Tennessean, Merriman claimed that Fisher indeed ordered the hit. "I didn't order a hit," Fisher said. "The play was designed and you saw it on the practice field if you watched practice. We're playing ball, that's all....He's a good player, but we're playing ball."

NFL.com reports Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young (undisclosed) left the teams Week 14 game with an undisclosed injury. He was able to return during the next series, but left the game again later during the final series of the first half. Young was able to start the second half of the game.
