The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow (knee) said Friday, Feb. 8, that he will seek a second opinion on his right knee. Winslow's right knee may require surgery for the fourth time.

Mark Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow told Sirius NFL Radio Thursday, Feb. 7, that he wants to renegotiate his contract with the team. Winslow said, When I got hurt (in 2005) the contract got renegotiated so some things changed but I think I've proven these past two years that I'm one of the elite tight ends. My value on the field, they put in a nickel (coverage), an extra DB in the game, and that really changes the whole game. They have to guard me kind of like a wide receiver so, you know, yeah, gotta to get that new money. (laughs). Winslow said he would let his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, handle it.

Browns QB Derek Anderson will replace New England's Tom Brady and Cleveland TE Kellen Winslow will sub for San Diego's Antonio Gates on the AFC's roster for the Pro Bowl. Patriots WR Randy Moss, has also decided to skip the Feb. 10 game.

The San Diego Chargers announced Monday, Feb. 4, TE Antonio Gates (toe) will not play in the 2008 Pro Bowl. He will be replaced by Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow.

The Cleveland Browns announced Monday, Feb. 4, that TE Kellen Winslow has been named to the 2008 AFC Pro Bowl roster. Winslow will replace San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates (toe).

ESPN.com reports Cleveland Browns TE Kellen Winslow (knee) said he will undergo offseason knee surgery. He said his shoulder may be strong enough but he is "really worried about" his knee. "Your legs are your life. I need my knee," Winslow said. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, it is believed he will have surgery on his right knee. He has had multiple surgeries on the same knee since 2005.
