Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner's ultimate football challenge is back and will take place on the field at the Cardinals training facility. The Kurt Warner Ultimate Football Challenge allows corporate football fans to interact with NFL celebrities in a ten team flag football tournament. Sponsorship dollars from the event will benefit Kurt Warner's First Things First Foundation. The event is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete against NFL legends and current and former players.

Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports the Arizona Cardinals are working with QB Kurt Warner on a contract extension. Warners deal is currently scheduled to expire after the 2008 season and working out an extension could lower Warners cap hit for the upcoming season. Unless an extension is reached, Warner will count $5 million against the cap this season, with $4 million in base salary and a prorated $1 million from his $3 million signing bonus.

Mike Tulumello, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner's agent would like the Cardinals to award a $500,000 bonus that Warner just missed statistically in the 2007 season. Warner's contract called for him to get a series of $500,000 bonuses, up to $1.5 million. He had four categories to reach, and he was successful on two of them, for $1 million. Warner came just short of the other two categories: finishing in the NFL's top 10 in passing yards and finishing with a passer rating of 90.0. He finished with a passer rating of 89.9. Cardinals general manager Rod Graves said he does not want to set a precedent by awarding Warner the $500,000.

ESPN.com reports current Arizona Cardinals and former St. Louis Rams QB Kurt Warner said he would like the NFL to investigate reports that say the New England Patriots may have benefited in Super Bowl XXXVI by taping the Rams final practice before the game.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (shoulder) was 26-for-36 for 259 yards with three touchdowns and one interception Week 10 against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Ken Whisenhunt decided to pull Warner in goal-line situations because of his injured shoulder. QB Tim Rattay replaced Warner and was 1-for-1 for two yards with one touchdown passing.
