NFL Network reports that the Lions have signed WR Shaun McDonald to a two-year deal. McDonald will be reunited with Lions offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who coached McDonald in St. Louis. He is expected to work as a slot receiver in the Detroit offense. He caught 13 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown in 2006 as he was primarily used on punt returns, averaging 7.5 yards per return.
