As a Patriot fan for over a dozen years, no one is as greatful for a QB like Tom brady who has brough us 3 Superbowls then I. However, is he all the he is cracked up to be? I Obviously think so, but his career win/loss record is misleading. He should have a split on Wins with a good defense, and wins where he has to win the game himself. I think the results will scare you.
This season was suppose to be Bradys glory season. Where he would post the best numbers of his career. Well, through 8 games, he has done just that. but, the Patriots are trying to stay afloat with a measly 4-4 record. Sure, the divison is ours because its filled with a bunch of no good teams and is the 2nd worst team behind the NFC north. 9 Wins will win this division, and irronically, thats all that Tom Brady will Muster this season. No defense leads to an overated Tom Brady as a leader and a player who can win a game by himself. If there was any skeptical people about this very thought before, you should rest assured that the truth is now out. Now i am not saying Brady is a fraud. hes a top 3 QB in this league. But, wiuh no defense to bail him out, he certainly a little overated. Would he be able to win those amount of games that he has won in his career with say the Texans? I doubt it. Its defense that has gotten the pats and himself those rings. But, i do think the patritos as a team are a fraud this season. Certainly they should have won 2 of the 4 games they lost. They should be 6-2 right now. But, Injuries or not, we couldnt pull it out. How can a team expect to be a contender when you cant stop the run, or the pass> its utter nonsense.
Cory Dillon, a 1600 yard back is on pace for 800 yads this season. Perhaps another reason why we cant get about the mendoza line? I think so. No run game league the defense in complete control knwoing it all about the pass. However, Brady has been putting up the numbers dispite the constant 8 man back to protect the pass. If Dillon can get his feet moving, we could go on a surge, but dont hold your breathe.
Big game against the pesky Phins. They have some guys who can run. Ricky is running wild and should start, but Saben is a going with the rookie. Histocially, ricky runs wild on the pats..but then again, who doesnt? this game will proablly be won by the Phins by a field goal, as much as it pains me to say that. hell, we cant even kick the same.........
