The season starts tomorrow!

Over/under on how many times they mention the Sharks collapse from last year tomorrow night? 20?

I wasn't counting, but they must have mentioned the collapse at least 10 times... good to see that Quick got pulled in his first game.

So... another one of Glen Sather's genius signings is hurt already. He sucks. (Dan Boyle, who was signed to a two year deal worth $5M per, is out 4-6 weeks with a broken hand). I like Boyle a lot as a player, but I was pretty pissed with this signing.

Darcy Kuemper has back to back shutouts against the Avs. I have no idea what Colorado was doing this past offseason.

Signing an old Jarome Iginla, that's what.

And trading for Brad Stuart (and giving him a contract extension). I saw a lot of Stuart last year since I like the Sharks, and he was awful. And they traded for Danny Briere too.

Colorado apparently scored with less than a second left against the Bruins to stun the Boston crowd.

Crosby is firing on all cylinders. Maybe we can put the wrist issue to bed?

I saw it with my own two eyes, but I still don't believe it. John Scott scored a goal.

I'm going to my first hockey game in about 20 years tonight. A friend got super cheap tickets from somewhere.

Well, that sucked. The Sharks got a point, but they were severely outplayed.

At least I only paid like $25 for second row seats?

I gave up too early on the Stars game last night. Apparently no lead is safe against this team. Love it.

I thought Dallas and the Islanders were the most improved teams in the west and east respectively. They're both looking good so far.

I think the defense is going to be a problem for Dallas all year. They blew a 2 goal lead last night to the Flyers, then regained the lead and lost it again in about 2 minutes.

Kings defenseman Slava Voynov has been suspended indefinitely by the league for domestic violence...

Jeez, and you would think people would be more careful now... nope. People are so dumb.

Victor Hedman needs surgery on his finger and will miss 4-6 weeks. Big blow to Tampa.

The Devils won a shootout! The Devils won a shootout! They had lost their previous 18 shootouts.

Zemgus Girgensons of the Sabres leads the ASG vote by nearly double the votes of the next person, Crosby.

Marty Brodeur joined the St. Louis Blues on a one-year deal.

Fleury earned his 5th shutout tonight against the Devils. That matches his career highs from 2006-07 and 2013-14. I'd say it's safe to say he will break his own record.

Crosby has the mumps now. Quick, stop what you are doing. I bet Bettman is crying.
