Nope, not Welker.

And although this guy played fairly recently, I wouldn't consider him playing in the passing era.

Well, geez. I assume it's not the "obvious" guys but if it's still recent, I don't know. Wayne Chrebet, haha?

Nope, but this guy did used to play for the Jets. I'm not sure what team he was on during the streak, though.

I cannot think of a single receiver for the Jets aside from those two. It's certainly not Kyle Brady or Jerrico Cotchery or something. Can you give me another team he was on? Or just give us the answer? I don't know how close I am.

Plaxico?

Edit: Nevermind. I just looked it up. I've never even heard of the guy.

I believe he played for Washington too.

And really, krush? Hmmm, I'm surprised you never heard of him. He wasn't a superstar, but he wasn't some scrub.

Oh, Laveranues Coles! I vaguely remember now his breaking some receiving mark when he came and played for the Skins with Patrick freaking Ramsey at QB. Most must have been from Pennington, though. I was gonna say Santana Moss, but you said he "played" and Moss is still on the roster. Then I remember Moss got traded to Washington for Coles (don't ask me why). I wouldn't be surprised if he broke the record vs. Philly.

Correct. I saw the Coles tidbit on the internet somewhere, and I was like what?

And yeah, I think he did get traded for Santana Moss.

I do not remember him playing for Cincy, though.

Here's a baseball one.

Brandon Belt hit a game winning home run in the 18th inning the other day in the playoffs. Who is the only other player to hit a game winning home run in the 18th inning of a playoff game?

I think this one is easier than the Coles question, but that's just my opinion.

Chris Burke. I think I watched all of the Astros playoff games that year.

I just looked him up. I graduated high school in 2002 so the bulk of his career was at the end of high school and through college for me. I really didn't pay much attention to sports because I was so busy with year round school, a full time job and a girl friend.

It wasn't till the end of his career that I started playing fantasy football when I assume he was no longer relevant fantasy wise.

He was traded for Santana Moss. Drafted by the Jets, signed with the Skins, traded back to the Jets. Fun fact from Wikipedia:

Quote:
On December 26, 2005 he caught the last touchdown in Monday Night Football's last game on ABC.

Coles could catch everything in Madden, so that helped my memory. I think he was a 1,000-yard receiver in the Spurrier era.

I want to say that it was in the 2k series where they had the trophy room and you could buy players jerseys or something like that. The two that I remember were Champ Bailey on the Skins and Coles on the Jets.

Now that Derek Jeter retired, which active player has the most World Series rings?

I was gonna suggest Javier Lopez because I know he was in Boston before San Fran. Could have up to 5 rings.

Javier Lopez is right! He was with Boston in 2007 and the Giants in 2010, 2012 and 2014.

Knowing Jeter had 5, and many of the Giants have 3, 4 had to be the correct answer.

So I figured it had to be a relief pitcher on the Giants since they have 3 in last 5 years.

Unless someone did a very successful team hop throughout their career.

Of the college basketball teams that have been D-I since 1938, who are the only five to never make the NCAA Tournament? One of them is really easy. I don't expect you guys to get any of the other ones.

I know Northwestern and Army haven't made it - I assume both have been D-1 since '38. No clue about the others.
