Jays are looking better this season. If Burnett rises to the occasion with Roy. Hopefully Lilly stays healthy and Chacin and Towers hold us into games we can score some more runs this year and win some more ball games. Im excited.

Hey, I just logged in but I'm stoked to see another Jays fan. WELCOME Rios39!! I think the Jays have a great shot at the wild card, but there are alot of new guys on that squad and they have to find some chemistry. They have looked like the baseball team for the special olympics in spring traing so far. But as I said I still think we'll get the WC. We won't beat those damn Yankees. Lilly is toast, I have no faith in him what-so-ever. Towers was one of the most improved pitchers in the AL last season and could be a sleeper for 15 wins. Halliday's is all healed up and looking good, Chacin has the potential to be very dominate. We better hope Lilly keeps it together though, Dustin McGowan has proven to be a horrible pitcher.

Wow I dont agree with that one a bit. Hes our top prospect and is 23 years of age. He is going to our next potential Ace. Hes got amazing stuff.

I don't know what games you've been watching Rios39. The JAys are bigger on Scott Downs these days and have no intention of giving McGowen another shot at a rotation spot. If he ever gets another call-up he will be used in middle relief. In fact even in AAA right now he is working in mid-relief.

Also this just in... Ted Lilly SUCKS!

Anyone watching the Jays game now? This Brian Tallet is a hell of a pitcher. F*ck Ted Lilly let's give this guy a rotation spot, he hasn't allowed a run after Lilly got pulled for walking the entire batting order and allowing 4 runs. Jays are right back in the game now.

Well I'd hope so with a guy named D. Waechter as the starting pitcher for the D'Rays Rolling Eyes.

LOL I am a person who dislikes the Yankees and the Red Sox due to the money situation. The Blue Jays are out there on a rebuild kind of year, and I like the looks of the team so far. They are last in that division as of now but give it time it is still EARLY. I do not think that the O's and the Rays cannot hold on for the long run.

They are looking good but there defense needs some serious work, until that improves I see them as a wild card only. Those damn Yankees still might win the division, but it's still early they have lots of time to get things together. It's time the Jays cut ties with Lilly though.

Yeah, I still think you guys kept should kept Orlando Hudson (gold glover), but when you have a chance to get a big bat in Glaus, you do it.

Burnett moved from 15 to 60 DL to make room for alfonzo , should come off around june 21

And the AMAZING Edgardo Alfonzo has been called up to play 2nd. Jays fans are planning a mass suicide.

So Burnett isn't due back until the 21st of June? Hmm... held onto him this long, might as well keep him.

I am 99% sure that we will not see AJ again this year. Remember how many times the Jays told us Doc was coming back last season.

Well Burnett threw 35 pitches off the mound and as long as he doesnt re-injure it during the 45 days, i dont see why he wont come back

Update: Burnett (elbow) pitched very well for Triple-A Syracuse on Monday, tossing five hitless innings with one walk and seven strikeouts.

Recommendation: Burnett will make one more rehab start at Syracuse before taking the mound with Toronto at Atlanta on June 22.

Yeah, I'm a bit more optimistic but let's face it AJ has now reached Kerry Wood status as far as playing timve vs DL time. I did choose to trade Colon over Aj in a recent trade though. Hopefully it won't bite me in the a$$
