well i don't really pay too much attention to NHL, but this season has been a eye opener in Chicago. how far do you guys think they can go?

Detroit steam rolled today 4-1
Bos over Mon 4-2

blackhawks are down 2-1 with 16 min left in the 3rd

Havlat just tied it up.

2-2 looks like this will be going into OT with 5 min left that is alot of time. Khabibulin is having a nice game tonight.

My namesake didn't exactly provide me with much of a reason to watch the NHL playoffs. Sad I have to hold out hope that the Nuggets will get past the first round and the Rockies will win a few games.

Maybe the same way the 2008 MLB playoffs were the best playoffs in the history of playoffs?

Marty's been holding his own this series. He had a couple nice saves to prevent the game from getting close. But the offense was outstanding. They had another lackadaiscal stretch from 10 minutes in the first to the early 2nd but got over it and delivered some vicious attacks including Claude Giroux single-handedly slicing through three Pens for a shorthanded assist to Gagne. Good sh!t.

The Canadiens are getting owned by the B's. Word is that Halak will be starting the next game forcing the golden boy of the Canadiens Carey Price to take a seat and think about his awful play. Since I held no hope that the Canadiens would do anything these playoffs this may be a good thing. It might force them to go out and get a top scoring player like Vinny Lecavalier, Ilya Kovalchuck, or even the often injured Marion Gaborik.

3-0 in Pitt. Wow. What a game by the Flyers. The 4th and 3rd lines deliver the first 2 goals... huge, huge win.

Were you able to see all of the game, Surge? FSN's headquarters in Atlanta got struck by lightning, so nobody in Pittsburgh was able to see any of the second period!

Same problem. FSN shut down or something, and Comcast (also in the area) blacks out the broadcast regardless. A couple bars downtown had Versus, so we headed down there.

Or hockeywebcasts.com. I've seen the games, it's just I don't like using a comp. vs. my HDTV, ya know?
