I'm not sure how much of a chance the Avs have against the hated Red Wings. The Red Wings swept the season series, though a few of the games were very close. Also, none of those games came after the trade deadline, and the Avs aquisitions at the deadline have been a main factor into their push into the playoffs and defeat of Minny in six games last round. There's nothing better than playoff hockey though, especially when it's with a rivalry as big as this one. I've got my tickets to game 4, and I'm hoping it'll somehow be a potential game for the Avs to advance, but being more realistic, I hope it's not a game that Detroit can advance in.

Canadiens own us. But then again, they owned the Bruins, too. Both teams will probably be tired, but Philly's insanely tired with 2 OT games in their series. I think Montreal in five, I hope Philly in 7.

Even if Montreal makes it past the Flyers they will have a hard time with Pitt or NYR. The reason being that the Bruins beat them up pretty good, then the Flyers will be beating them up pretty good. The Rangers and the Penguins both had finesse teams in the first two games so they wont be bruised up.

Oh yeah I have

San Jose in 7
Detroit in 7
Montreal in 6
Rangers in 7

The Avs lost game one 4-3. They battled back from a 4-1 defecit but in the end weren't able to overcome it. Theodore was pulled in the second period after allowing the fourth goal. Hopefully the Avs can come out strong on Saturday and tie the series at one game each.

Couldn't bring myself to watch playoff hockey tonight. Hate all four teams that stepped on the ice tonight. As I still recovering from the Bruins loss(as proud as I was of the team and their effort all year, I was still disappointed in the loss) and on top of that an Eastern Conference game that holds my two most hated teams(and I mean HATED) with the Western Conference match up of two teams that I dislike as well. Tonight will draw my attention.

I'm still waiting on the Sidney Crosby ship to sink. With this much rest, they can only disappoint. I mean all the did was sweep an already dead Ottawa team. I think the Red Wings could end sooner than 6 too. Sorry avs, Jose Theodore is no playoff hero and the year isn't 2001. San Jose isn't that much of a playoff team, and considering they didn't exactly dominate the Flames, I think it's the Stars that'll come out on top. Maybe a little homerism too. I'm saying Habs-Philly goes 7 games, just because neither team can put their opponent away when they've got them facing elimination.

What does that even mean? That Sidney Crosby ship has been sailing since he was what, 6? It hasn't sunk yet, and it's not about to now.

Yes, too bad they got so much rest. A gruelling 7-game series with a physical team like Philadelphia would have left them in much better shape. This way they got to get healthy and refreshed and you know how bad that is for you. Good thing the Rangers have only been off since April 18th. Cause the difference between 7 days of rest and 9 days of rest is ginormous.

Go Habs Go set to the single most annoying hip-hop song of the last year. Apparently, D and his Canadian friends don't understand rap/hip hop videos must consist of women in skimpy clothes trying to grind with the thing closest to them. Instead, it's the one Canadien black fan rapping with some white dude doing the chorus.

Huge insurance goal by Umberger with 2:20 left. Great hustle leading to a Price error by Umberger's hard work.

It's time for the expert to make his predictions.

Reds Wings - Avalanche: Red Wings in 7

In game 7, the Avs decide to let a pee wee hockey team play the second half in build up to a cliche sports movie miracle ending. The kids get crushed, and the Red Wings win and celebrate to We Are the Champions.

Sharks - Stars: Sharks in 6

Come on, what is a star going to do to stop a f*cking shark? Plus, I'm hearing that Dalls is not able to focus because of Jessica Simpson.

Canadiens - Flyers: Canadiens in 5

Last time I checked, this was hockey. Come on. Also, in a shocking twist, Santa Claus will finally strike his revenge against Philly and play for Montreal.

Rangers - Penguins: Rangers in 4

Yeah, I know they lost game one, but they're just that good. Ah maybe they'll just win in 5. They need to win, or Rangers fans are going to start blaming Isiah Thomas.

These South Park allusions are excellent. I forget the score... 40-0?

I think they hoisted the Stanley Cup, didn't they? That part didn't make sense... as opposed to, you know, the pee wee team taking over for the Avs.

And Andrew forgot to add a kid would die from cancer as a result.
