Drummond and Harris really surprise me there! I know Drummond's FT% is poor, but he's an immense talent.

You guys seem to have more faith in Steve Nash than I do.

I almost picked him before I decided on anyone else but somehow he made the cut 2 more times after that. I guess it is more around what he might be able to do than what I think he will do.

Nash was pretty damn good when he played. He didn't score 18+, but 14-15 is reasonable with Howard gone. It might be a bit higher with Kobe out a bit. Add in 6-7 assists per game and his phenomenal percentages (almost a 50-40-90 season), and he's a good get. You could argue he may only play 50 or 55 games, but the production's still better than anything you'll get from the bottom 3.

Well, you guys have really found the mark quickly: this is why I'm happy to discover this board after operating without the Lounge.

My bottom three are relatively clear, but the question is whether or not I take Gallinari and be patient with his knee when his upside is really three's over Steve Nash, who's MY AGE (thereabouts) and still plays PG and now lacks the PHX training staff.

Still, Nash + Gasol would or could run a league average offense, and the coach is still offensively minded.

I was a playoff team last year, and I think I lost in the Bronze medal matchup. I don't mind being win now.

Oh and to answer your question, I think Drummond will do just fine and has huge potential but the addition of Josh Smith might take away some of his numbers. I dont expect his PPG to improve much although he might have slightly more APG. His RPG might take a hit as well because you now have 3 players (potentially 4) with 8+ RPG.

Hilario on the other hand you have enough track record to be pretty certain what you are going to get out of him.

Harris on the other hand was not impressive in Milwaukee but did well in Orlando, only over 27 GP. This makes me very cautious. Again you know what to expect from Gallinari.

With all that being said, these are all the players that were part of my first cut list (along with Nash as stated above). If you are looking for consistent and proven that is one thing, but if you are looking for the potential than Surge's picks are a much better option.

Drummond played just 21 MPG last season. If he can just up that by 8-10 a game to the 29-31 range, and even with Josh Smith in tow, he'll approach 11 PPG, 11 RPG, and 3 BPG. Those are borderline-Ibaka numbers. Jennings will take some shots to cut down that points total a bit, but the potential was unleashed only in stretches last season. Expect a ton more PT because they will make a bid for the playoffs.
