I know, U-S-A, U-S-A, but we just lack the storylines that dominated four years ago. Redeem Team. Michael Phelps. Usain Bolt. The whole Chinese gymnasts age scandal. Alicia Sacramone being hot.
This time around, it's just meh. |

| The run-off for the final Olympics spot for the women in the 100 was canceled because Tarmoh gave her spot up to Felix. I thought it would be pretty cool to watch, but whatever. |

I read she may end up getting left off the relay team now because of all the whining. |

| Was hoping to see a high flying gold medal basketball game and instead it's been the referee show. Can't say I follow basketball avidly but anytime the pace of play is this slow it's a buzz kill. |

| This Olympics was OK. Big deal for Great Britain and London, but I never got the feeling there was anything worth devoting hours to. Didn't help that NBC had their usual tape delay and scripted 7 p.m. show to essentially display all the American victories that we already knew happened. |

| I wish they would show other events and countries. It's great seeing American athletes, but there are so many other athletes with great stories too. NBC overdid it on volleyball too. It seemed like every time I turned it on, that's what they were showing |
