Might as well keep them all in one thread because I feel we'll be seeing a few more this season.
In the most recent one, Kevin Millwood and five other Mariners pitchers combined for a no-hitter just days after Johan Santana threw the first ever Met no-no. Millwood struck out six and walked one before a groin injury forced him to the showers. It's the second no-no Millwood has started - he finished his last one in '03 as a Phillie.
Ichiro had three hits and scored the game's lone run. |

| Matt Cain is perfect with 14 Ks against the Astros as the Giants won 10-0. |

| And RA Dickey should have had one but they ruled that first inning hit not to be an error. |

The Mets sure are riding Dickey this year. |

That doesn't sound appropriate. |

How about...
The Mets are pushing Dickey deep into games. |

| At least the batters aren't taking Dickey deep in the hole much. |

| Yeah, but Dickey does shove his balls right into the batter's zone. |

24 up, 24 down after striking out the side.
Currently, Jose Lobaton, a second-year 27-year-old catcher, Elliott Johnson and Sean Rodriguez are due up in the 9th.
Hellickson's allowed just one run on the other end. |

| No walks 12 ks. I would have went 4 for 4 with two homers against him tonight though. |

| This is the 5th time in the last 2 1/2 seasons the Rays have been no-hit, 3x they've had perfect games thrown against them. |

| They were no-hit just one time before that. Can't help but think Joe Maddon is partially responsible with his wacky lineups. |

Nothing against Hernandez, but I think the Rays were just tired. They played in Minnesota, flew to Seattle the next day and played a night game that night. Then turned around and played this day game the very next day. They had to be exhausted. |

Homer Bailey pitches the Reds' first no-hitter since 1988. 10 K, 1 BB, one error and no runs allowed against the Pirates, who haven't had a no-no against them despite their struggles since some dude named Gibson did it in 1971. Bailey threw 115 pitches and 74 strikes. It's not a surprise he accomplished this game in PNC Park, where he is 5-0 with a 1.40 ERA in his career.
He also reached 200 innings in a season for the first time ever as well. The once-top prospect had been a disappointingly average for the past 3 seasons, so this puts a cap on a fantastic 2012 campaign..
Bailey's effort was the SEVENTH no-no of 2012 tying the modern-day record set in 1990 and equaled the following season.
A.J. Burnett (who has a no-no, too) pitched a good game in his own right - 1 run on 7 hits with 5 K in 8 innings.
With the loss, the Pirates assured themselves of not going over .500 with their 81st loss, extending their North American streak non-over-.500 seasons to 20. |

| I still think the no-hitter is an impressive feat, but it seems like the last few years there have been a lot more than usual. |
