I just wanted to let everyone know that Sott has been doing a great job with the podcasts. They are very well put together and very useful. Everyone should listen to them weekly and lets all thank Scott for doing this for FPM.

Embarassed Embarassed Thanks, Adam. I appreciate the kind words.

What prompted this, if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks, again. I think they'd be that much better if I could get some staff members as well as regular members involved. I've talked to John already about it, so he'll join me eventually. Adam, and everyone else, the invitation is still valid to be part of the podcasts. If you have a segment in mind or just want to give your two cents about something, Vick, Bellicheat or whatever, you have a platform for your voice to be heard. Just an FYI. Even though I produce them, they're not meant to just be "my" thing.

Thats cool and I plan on joining you for a few sessions. I have been really busy lately so things started filling up my schedule. I have an idea in mind and I am going to see what I can get done.

Once I get out to Denver, I plan on doing a lot as well. Maybe, we can even get the radio show back going again, but not using BCM because they were a rip off. Kyle and I have talked about a few options.

I might take you up on that offer once the baseball offseason comes around. Lots of fun stuff always to talk about then including whoever the Cowboys beat on Thanksgiving to continue their undefeated start to the season Very Happy

Hey gang, the new podcast for the week is up and running. It won't take a lot of time, it's only 12 minutes long, so please give it a listen and let me know what you think. Thanks! Cool

Great job Scott and right on with Bowe. I have a question about the podcast. The player itself is good but when you pause it and then hit play it skips to the next podcast. Also, is there a way to download the podcasts so that I can take it with me to listen to in my car?

Sorry for just now seeing this. I'm not sure about the player. That's more Kyle's thing. I'm sure there's a way to download them, but again, that's Kyle's department.

By the way, how close are some of you to being part of the podcasts?

Lubic, you ever get a computer mic for X-mas? LOL!

Again, anyone interested in being part of the podcasts, please let me know.

Hey gang, if you haven't noticed, I'm back at it with the podcasts.

If you have time, please give them a listen and tell me know what you think. Any criticsm is welcome! Plus, if you have an idea for a segment or even want to be part of the show, let me know. I'm very open to working with others.

Smile

I feel like a prick, but . . .

The problem with the podcast is it's all news. It's a weekly thing, and I know you're really busy so I can't blame it for being 15 minutes long, but I would certainly try to make it more creative. I can go to rotoworld and get everything you tell me.

A more interesting spin would be discussion - maybe about players or a team or a position. Maybe bring up some articles that intrigue you from blogs or mags that not everyone knows about. Essentially, I would try to discuss things that would not be available via a google search.

I've never run a podcast, and I don't want to, but I think the content's just lacking your own insight and opinions and is far too much news-oriented.

Don't. I welcome criticism. It's actually a bi-weekly thing now.

Funny you should say that as I feel I give my opinion in every segment. Perhaps you could elaborate on that, and what you mean by creative.

I've thought about doing discussions, and had one with Gil a while back, but I didn't think me rambling by myself would make for good listening. It's why I've always tried to encourage others to get involved. I'm always welcome to suggestions for new segments though.

Thanks for the input!
