I don't think The Sedin twins have agreed to anything yet. There is a rather lengthy quote that I've been seeing all day saying that the Sedins and Cunucks have not agreed on all points of the 12 year offer.

I think they will sign though, they want to continue to play together and very few teams will be interested in taking them both on.

EDIT: I found the quote
Quote:

"It was great that they flew over just to meet us," Henrik told Aftonbladet on Tuesday. "We sat down and talked for a while. They wanted to let us know how they feel about the situation. We have to wait and see what happens. We have told them what we want, but we don't agree on all the details."

But also found the story that they have agreed to a 5 year deal with the Nuk's.

I am hearing that Chicago has signed Hossa and that Toronto has traded either Kubina or Kaberle.

WOW... this one is actually pretty huge. Brian Burke has flown to Sweden in an attempt to sign Goalie Jonas Gustavsson to a contract with the Leafs. Gustavsson could be the best goalie to ever hit the NHL.

Rupp is a former first round pick in 1998 who went unsigned...by the Islanders. He re-entered 2 years later and was drafted late by NJ. I've been told he's above average in his own end, but thats about it.

Nice! Gotta love the addition of Hossa for my Hawks. Another legitimate playmaker, even though that probably means bye-bye to Havlat, I'm okay with that.

You're ok with a 12-year deal for a 30-year old choke artist? Man, Chicago sports sure has beaten you down. Razz

I've gotta say, Chicago is really loading up. Better hope Huet doesn't suck.

Most of the deal is front loaded being paid to him in the first 8 years. If he is moderately productive after that than they will be getting their moneys worth. The bigger concern for the Blackhawks going forward is affording Toews and Kane now that they have some pretty sizeable contracts on that team.

The Yotes signed a boat load of crap, including Vern Fiddler (whoever the hell that is, apparently he played for the Predators last season and no one noticed), Adrian Aucoin, and Jason LaBarbera.

However, I think I have single handedly found the rest why LaBarbera has struggled as a goalie in the NHL.
