Yovani Gallardo makes his debut today, and it just happens to be against maybe the most storied batter in MLB history, Barry Bonds. The first of the 2004 Brewers draft class to make it, Gallardo is still just 21, but he was insane in triple-A.

2007: 77.2 IP, 110/28 K/BB, 2.90 ERA, 4 HRA.

One of those guys that you can definitely expect quick results in if you have him in fantasy leagues. If (he will) he pitches the rest of the way, you're talking about16-20 starts, about 5-7 K per start and a low WHIP and ERA.

Solid debut, 6+ innings, 4 K, 3 BB, a few earned runs, and the win thanks to Cordero getting out of his own jam.

I was sweating this one out. I have both on my fantasy team. Would have been a swing of about half of my days points if Cordero didn't pull it out in the end. Phew. . .
