Reed Johnson out of LF for a couple months, owners should really consider Adam Lind. A former 3rd round pick, right now, he's probably more doubles power than homers, but his power potential is still excellent.

He did have excellent discipline in triple-A last year (23 walks to 18 K) but was horrid in double-A (25 walks, 87 K) and followed it up with no walks to ten strikeouts in triple-A this season. He was his league's player of the year last season and has been named to 3 all-star teams.

Defense is a concern, so his stay may be short if he can't stick with the glove.

he is worth a gamble if you have a open slot on your team via injury or crappy player.

I ended up missing the boat on him in most of my leagues. Sad

Went to school with Adam, I hope he can keep his power numbers up. There is not a whole lot of need for a defensive liability who only hits for average.
