Two Start Pitchers :: Week 15
by Scott Mickels
Published: July 21, 2012, 8:04 pm

Fortunately, we don't have any Injury Watch's to worry about this week, but I did want to touch on the Oakland A's Travis Blackley.  As a reliever or starter, Blackley has been a pleasant surprise in fantasy and is making the most of his opportunity.  Since starting the season in the bullpen, he's done a good job making the transition to starter.  He's allowed no more than 3 earned runs in a game in his last 6 starts and is also 2-1 during that span.  In addition, in three July appearances, he has an ERA of 2.35.  On the season he sports a 2-2 record with a 3.36 ERA to go along with a 1.07 WHIP.  There's a great chance he's available in your league and definitely makes someone to keep in mind heading into Week 15.  Blackley has two road starts this week, at Toronto and at Baltimore.  If you're desperate for a 2-start pitcher this week, you could do a lot worse than Travis Blackley.

Good luck to your fantasy teams!  Now, on to what we all came here for, the Two-Start Pitchers!

Of course, if you have any pitching questions, don’t hesitate to email me with them at scottmickels@fantasyplaymakers.com.  Also, don’t forget to check out Mick’s Fantasy Podcast! It goes hand-in-hand with this article!

NOTE:  These starts are not set in stone. They can change for any variety  of  reasons: managerial moves, injuries, rain-outs, etc. Please keep  in mind  they are probable.
