Two Start Pitchers :: Week 8

 Going into Week 8 we only have one minor Injury Watch to discuss. This week we make our way to Cleveland where the Indians' starting pitcher Josh Tomlin is recovering from a sore right wrist. Tomlin has thrown a 30-pitch bullpen session as well as a 50-pitch simulated game and the Indians' pitching staff was happy with what they saw from him. As a result, he's set to come off the 15-day DL and is slated to start Monday as the Tribe hosts Kansas City. Tomlin only has 6 starts on the season, but did throw quality starts in 3 of last 4 outings before the injury. He's 1-2 with a 4.67 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP in 34.2 innings of work. He could gain more fantasy value, but until he shows more consistency Tomin is probably best left for AL-only and deeper mixed leagues. Good luck with your fantasy team!
