Micks Picks :: Week 15 by Scott Mickels Published: December 19, 2009, 11:53 am
Make sure to check here every week! Each week, I'll suggest three players that are likely on your league's waiver wire that could provide a spark to your fantasy team. Of course, if you have any questions you'd like me to answer, please send them to me at scottmickels@fantasyplaymakers.com. Now, for this week's Mick's Picks... Mick's Picks - Week 15

Arian Foster, RB, HOU (@ STL) FPM Spin: It seems Foster is in line for the start this week against the Rams. He finished last week's game with 13 carries for 34 yards, and is expected to play a bigger role this week. Along with a bigger workload, Foster gets a very favorable match-up against the Rams' 27th-ranked rush defense. He's not going to blow anyone away with his talent or speed, but he is a serviceable fantasy back. The Texans are intent on taking a long look at Foster, so he should see the majority of the carries in Houston for the rest of the season. Consider him a low-end #2 running back this week and worth a stash for the rest of the season if you're thin at running back.
Season Stats - 13 carries, 34 yards, 0 TD

Chris Jennings, RB, CLE (@ KC)
FPM Spin: After a constant rotation in the backfield, the Browns seem to be fairly set on giving Jennings the bulk of workload for the rest of the season. He had a very good game last week against a stout Steelers' defense rushing for 73 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Not only that, but he's also looking at favorable match-ups for the rest of the year and could be a very valuable pick-up going into your fantasy playoffs. He goes up against the Chiefs' 28th-ranked rush defense this week and should have some success. If you have the room, he's definitely worth stashing on your roster. Consider Jennings a decent #2 running back in deeper leagues.
Season Stats - 45 carries, 168 yards, 1 TD HONORABLE MENTIONSDevin Aromashodu, WR, CHI: Broke out in a big way last week catching 8 balls for 76 yards and touchdown.
Deon Butler, WR, SEA: Expected to see more playing time with Nate Burleson out with a sprained ankle.
Greg Camarillo, WR, MIA: Had a great game last week catching 7 passes for 110 yards, just one yard shy of his career high.
