Drew Carter, WR, CAR (vs. NO)
FPM Spin: Carter was targeted frequently by Vinny Testaverde and took advantage of Steve Smith's absence last week by catching 5 passes for 132 yards and a score. Chances are Smith will be back for Week 12, so Carter probably won't produce like he did in Week 11. Nonetheless, Smith isn't 100%, so Carter is worth taking a flier on in deeper leagues just in case Smith misses any more time.
Stats - 23 receptions, 344 yards, 4 TD Ron Dayne, RB, HOU (@CLE) FPM Spin: Dayne once again had a good week as he carried the ball 21 times for 89 yards. It was the second straight week he received over 20 carries. He has a favorable match-up next week, so if he does get the start, he makes a decent #2. There still is a chance Green returns to action in Week 12, so keep an eye in the situation. Considering Ahman Green can't stay healthy, Dayne is at least worth taking a flier on in most leagues. Stats - 121 carries, 437 yards, 2 TD JaMarcus Russell, QB, OAK (@ KC) FPM Spin: Much like last week with John Beck, this one is for you keeper leaguers out there. The Raiders have targeted December 2nd as the date they expect the #1 draft pick to make his first NFL start. Mistakes and turnovers are to be expected, especially since he's facing the Broncos tough secondary at home. The upside is all there; the offensive weapons to throw to, however, are not. Temper your expectations, but Russell is worth taking a flier on in any keeper league because of his future potential. Stats - No Stats
