Welcome to Fantasy Playmakers! FPM was launched in November, 2004 with the goal of providing a safe, fun, informative and close-knit community for all fantasy sports junkies, as well as providing quality, competitive and entertaining fantasy sports gaming.
What makes FPM unlike any other fantasy sports website is that our development effort is based on a “user-centric” effort. This means that all the content, features, additions, etc for the site was shaped by, and for, our members. We will continue to follow this developmental theory , even as we continue to grow. Our members come first and we will do what it takes to make sure their stay with FPM is enjoyable. If you have any ideas for the site, please feel free to Contact Us.

Favorite Sports Moment: anytime the Steelers lose, WVU Mountaineers defeat the No. 4 ranked Miami Hurricanes on the way to an undefeated season, the 1993 Big East football championship and a Sugar Bowl berth.
Worst Sports Moment: Seeing the undefeated, "Cinderella Story" 1988 WVU Mountaineers lose to Notre Dame in the National Championship game (Fiesta Bowl).

Hometown: Oklahoma City, OK
Favorite Sports Teams: Oklahoma Sooners, Cleveland Indians, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bulls
Favorite Athletes: Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, Scottie Pippen, Jim Thome.
Favorite Sports Moment: Watching OU tight end Keith Jackson catch a TD pass
streaking down the middle from Jamelle Hollieway in the '86 Orange Bowl to defeat Penn State for the national title, 25-10. Oklahoma beating heavily-favored Florida State 13-2 in the 2000 Orange Bowl for the national title is a close second.
Worst sports moment: Game 7 of the '97 World Series. Watching Edgar Renteria single up the middle off of Charles Nagy to score Craig Counsell from third, as the Cleveland Indians lose the World Series in extra innings.
Best Fantasy Accomplishment: Drafting Mark McGwire as my #1 pick in '98— only to have him go off for 70 homeruns. You may have heard about it. ;)
Worst Fantasy "Accomplishment": Drafting Tim Naehring in that same draft— only to have him get hurt shortly into the season and never play another major league game again.
